FILESTREAM Feature Is Disabled In SQL Server 2008

One of my colleagues is facing an issue, while restoring the Adventureworks database on SQL Server 2008.

Whenever she is restoring, its throwing an error like below.

Error Details:
System.Data.SqlClient.SqlError: FILESTREAM feature is disabled. (Microsoft.SqlServer.Smo)

Here is the workaround for this error:

Step 1: Run SQL Server Configuration manager from start menu.

Step 2: Right click on SQL Server instance, select the File stream TAB and Select the Enable FILESTREAM for Transact-SQL access check box.

Step 3: Select other two options those are not much important or you can ignore as well.

Step 4: And click Apply.

Step 5: Now run SQL Server management studio through start menu and connect.

Step 6: Once connected, open new query window and run the below query.

EXEC sp_configure filestream_access_level, 2
RECONFIGURE

Step 7: Once above steps are completed, try to restore the database, it will work this time without any error.
