How To Find Retention Period Of The Default Trace File In SQL Server 2008 R2

Finding Retention period of the trace file in SQL Server. 

By default trace file is enable in SQL Server, it is recommended to be enable trace file for troubleshooting small small issues like finding database restore duration and etc.

Here is the query for finding the trace file size. 
USE master
GO
SELECT id, path, max_size, max_files, is_rollover
FROM sys.traces
WHERE id = 1
GO
